Family Tree Care LLC employs 3 full time Connecticut licensed arborists who consult with our customers and are on the job site.
Our arborists are Certified Tree care Safety Professionals (CTSP), ensuring current safety
guidelines at all times.
In the State of Connecticut only licensed arborists may advertise, solicit or contract to prune, cable, fertilize or spray trees on a commercial basis. The Connecticut DEP strongly regulates the Licensing of Arborists in the State of Connecticut.
As defined in the arborist law, “arboriculture means any work done for hire
- to improve the condition of fruit, shade or ornamental trees
- by feeding
- fertilizing
- pruning
- trimming
- bracing
- treating cavities
- or other methods of improving tree conditions
- protecting trees from damage from insects or diseases
- curing these conditions by spraying or any other method.
Arborists in Connecticut as a group are competent, dedicated, aware of the greater good and motivated to uphold the standards of their field. Arborists in the State are professionals and to achieve this, they must go through a rigorous testing process, consisting of three separate exams. The Arborist must prove knowledgeable in tree biology, condition & health and must also show that they know proper and sage methods for diagnosing and treating tree problems. |
